Day 4 of Insanity and I forgot how much I love Thursdays. Thursday is recovery day. No power jumps, no super cardio. Just nice stretching, yoga, balance, and core work. I must confess that I didn’t eat all that great for the first 4 days. I weighed in this morning and gained 1.8 pounds. Yikes! Its like I haven’t slowed down since the 4th of July. I keep eating and drinking whatever I want, whenever I want. I’d eat a great breakfast or have Shakeology, decent to healthy lunch and then dinner on would be a disaster. Snacking, drinking wine, eating late. I finally smacked myself in the face today and said NO MORE!!
I confessed my weight gain to my husband and asked him for help. The silence and acceptance of just grabbing a glass of wine became the norm. We’ve acknowledged it and agree to help each other. Back on track.
