Today marks 5 years as a Team Beachbody coach. Oh what a journey. At first I said no. I didn’t want to do it. I was busy, had a 5 year old and didn’t have time for anything new in my life. Boy am I glad I took the leap of faith.
There have been many firsts:
- 1st 5K, 10K, 15K and 1/2 marathon.
- 1st time to Jamaica, Nashville, Cayman Islands and many other places.
- Many firsts for our son too. 1st time to Cancun, Cozumel, Jamaica, Disney, snow skiing and more.
- 1st time to teach a LIVE Insanity class
- 1st time to speak on stage in front of 500 people, including the CEO of Beachbody
I can’t put into words the gratitude I have for this opportunity. Not only does it help me to be more accountable to my own health and fitness but it also helps me to guide others onto their path to health and loving themselves.
Personal Development is one of the vital behaviors of being a successful coach. In the last 5 years I’ve listened to many hours of personal development, attended seminars, and read thousands of pages of books.
I’ve seen people come and go as a coach. It always makes me sad when someone decides to quit. I get it that coaching isn’t for everyone. However, when I see people who I KNOW in my heart are great coaches and they don’t see it in themselves I feel like I’ve failed them.
Love and gratitude for the first 5 years. I love the ups and the downs. I’ve learned a lot about myself. Most of all I love myself. I don’t know if I would have learned that lesson by now.
Thank you team. Thank you clients. Thank you customers. Thank you family. Thank you.
