Beachbody Ultimate Reset Week 2 Recap

May 14th 2012
Beachbody Ultimate Reset Week 2 Recap Finished week 1 in a fog. Back hurt and body aches. Starving and irritable most of the week. Day 7 it all lifted. Still getting used to the meal plan but feeling much better. The last 2 weeks have reminded me of how I felt when I was breast feeding. Obessed with feeding time and everything that went with it. Top things I’ve realized during week 2: • Portion control is a key factor in why I wasn’t losing weight before. • Mindful eating vs mindless Continue Reading >

What do you want? Why do you want it?

January 21st 2012
What do you want and why do you want it? Seems basic right? But yet there are so many people that don’t know what they want and why. Or maybe they know what they don’t want. Sometimes that is where you need to begin. They don’t want to be overweight, they don’t want to be in debt, they don’t want to be single, they don’t want to be married, they hate their job, or they want to get a job. The list can go on and on. I hear these powerful Whys coming from people but yet they don’t take Continue Reading >

One Year Anniversary as a Team Beachbody Coach

November 10th 2011
What a difference a year makes. Last year I was sitting at my desk at work talking to Chris Reed. He had talked to me about the coaching opportunity a few times and I said no. I finally took the leap of faith and said yes. Why did I say no? Out of fear of the unknown I’m sure. I looked at the last 39 years of my life and thought why not? Why not challenge myself and try something new. Watch this short video. It’s me. It’s real. I thought about getting all dolled up and fix my hair and then Continue Reading >

Why Do I Do This To Myself?

October 12th 2011
Why Do I Do This To Myself? The cycle. The vicious cycle of eating poor, drinking alcohol, and not working out. I've heard the phrase suicide by food. I don't like to use that term but sometimes it fits. Why do we slowly kill ourselves with food? Over eating, eating poorly, drinking too much. Most people have a busy life and work some type of job whether it is in or out of the home. Lets play out a typical week. (without kids, working an 8 to 5, M-F job) This could be anyone. Most of this Continue Reading >

P90X2 -Ordered my Copy

September 6th 2011
So excited when I ordered my copy of P90X2. I had the honor of being at the Coach Summit in LA in June. Sat in the audience with 2500 other coaches listening to Tony Horton discuss how this is a game changer for fitness. The study and work that goes into producing this is amazing. I'm glad to be a part of it. I have several months to work my way up to P90X2 quality. Should receive it before Christmas and ready to begin in January. The great thing is that my new years resolutions rarely have Continue Reading >

Journey vs Destination

August 20th 2011
I'm on day 41 of Insanity. I've had my ups and downs with my nutrtion and set backs with my body. However, that will not stop me from getting to day 60. My dad went to the ER with chest pains. That was a scary day. He is okay now and that is all that matters. At first I became a Beachbody coach to help myself. To keep myself on track. Now I love helping others stay on track and help themselves. Service to many leads to greatness. That is what keeps going through my mind. Service to many leads to Continue Reading >

Insanity The Asylum Day 8

April 27th 2011
Back to core. I love this workout. Not too out of control and it really works my core. I think anyone could do this workout. The jumping jacks were the only time we jumped. Other than that it was straight core. My back is sore. I'm feeling muscles in my legs and shoulders. It is not an out of control soreness so I'm still digging The Asylum. There are some workouts that make me so sore that I don't want to continue. You know those. The ones where you can't even wash your hair or get dressed. No Continue Reading >
