The entire ship filled with 3,000 other coaches. Yay! Getting to work out with celebrity trainers every day. Tony Horton, Shaun T, Autumn Calabrese. Yay! Getting pictures with tons of awesome people and hanging out with friends I rarely see. Yay! So, why didn’t I enjoy myself? What is wrong with me? Am I depressed? Am I going through Continue Reading >

Balance Your pH and Stay Well

March 14th 2014
Do you understand pH? The Wikipedia definition of pH is a measure of the acidity or basicity of an aqueous solution. Solutions with a pH less than 7 are said to be acidic and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic or alkaline. Pure water has a pH very close to 7. Our blood is slightly basic so keeping ourselves in an alkaline state is better for our blood and our bodies. When you keep your blood in an acidic state your body is a breeding ground for infection and disease. Take a look at Continue Reading >

You may or may not have followed me for a while. Let me recap things for you. I lost a large amount of weight a few years ago. I struggle with the last 10 pounds over and over. Reset week 1. The Pros and Cons

January 13th 2014
Reset week 1. The Pros and Cons For those who have followed me through the 21 day Ultimate Reset before you know some of what to expect. Experiencing the reset is totally different than watching someone going through it. It is kind of like parenthood to me. Everyone tells you how difficult it is but also how rewarding it is too. Everyone tells you how being a parent changes everything but you really don’t know how much it changes everything until you are actually a parent. Going to the grocery Continue Reading >

The Hell Of Taking Before Pictures

January 6th 2014
You've taken before pictures. You know you have. Maybe you didn't call them before pictures at the time. They were just pictures. Today I started a journey to get back the me I love. There are people who say love yourself no matter what size you are. I believe that. I do love myself but I don't love the way I feel right now. I don't like feeling like a busted can of biscuits in my jeans. I don't like doing the pants dance to get my clothes on. I don't like having my towel pop off when I get out of Continue Reading >
