Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit – Day 2

July 12th 2011
Well here we are. Day 2 of Insanity. I made it through the warm up with ease. As easy as it can be. I was sweating and doing it and pushing myself. I usually have to stop but this time I didn't. I dug deep and made it. My back is still hurting a little but it is getting better. Plyo is one of my favorites. It wasn't the first time I tried Insanity but now it is. It pushing me so hard and I usually end up crying at the end. It helps me leave it all on the floor. If I had a bad thought in my head Continue Reading >

Insanity : Fit Test Day 1

July 11th 2011
My back is still hurting from moving that 800 pound Lightining McQueen bed. The vertigo is almost gone. I picked Day 1 today for several reasons. 1) The last time I completed Insanity from Day 1 to Day 60 was last summer. 2) I have someone I connected with through Beachbody that is starting her Day 1 today. 3) I'm turning 40 in September, (a little more than 60 days) and I wanted to look and feel my best. 4) Finally wanted to follow the meal plan and prove that I could actually do it Continue Reading >

Insanity Begins Again Monday July 11th

July 7th 2011
The last time I completed Insanity from Day 1 to Day 60 was last summer. Almost an entire year has gone by. Back slided a little around summit and put on a few pounds. Time to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Looking foward to Day 1 again. That is the thing I love most about a Beachbody program. It leaves nothing up in the air. It tells you what to do and when to do it. I'll complete my 60 days about a week before my 40th birthday. The challenge is on. Before pictures and measurements will Continue Reading >

Team Beachbody Coach Summit Recap 2011 – Day 1

June 29th 2011
Its been a little over a week since I attended the Team Beachbody Coach Summit in Los Angeles. It was my first. I've been a coach about 7 months now. I bought my ticket back in February when I was less than 90 days into being a coach. My mentors and leaders highly recommended it. So glad I listened. My head is literally and figuratively still spinning from Summit. Experiencing some vertigo from the plane trip. Very odd. I've dialed back the intensity of my workouts until this goes away. Now to Continue Reading >

Countdown to Summit

June 15th 2011
I'm so excited I can barely sit still. I've been a coach since November 2010. As of today that is only 7 months. Boy how my life has changed since I said yes to being a coach with Team Beachbody. Mentally, physically, financially. All better, way better. Looking forward to meeting friends in person. Looking forward to meeting my idol Shaun T. The man that changed my body. Looking foward to feeling the unbelievable energy in the room. I wish I was better at blogging. I have a full time job and Continue Reading >

Insanity The Asylum Results

June 2nd 2011
I did it. I made it through 30 days of Insanity The Asylum. I loved the mix of strengh, yoga(Relief) and cardio. Still working on jumping rope. The next round I will work on pull ups and focus on my eating plan. This time around it was mixed with holidays and vacations. I didn't follow the get shred guide. I'm sure if I had I would be shredded. Continue Reading >

Excuses Excuses

May 23rd 2011
I used to be the queen of excuses. Why I wasn't at my goal. Why I wasn't skinny. Why I didn't eat right. Why I was sick. Why I was late to work. Why my back hurt. Why I didn't workout. Why I over slept. Why I didn't have money to pay the bills. Why I didn't like my job. Why my car broke down. Let’s be clear on an excuse. What I mean by excuse is a rationalization of why you didn't do something you know you should do. Or why you did do something you know you shouldn't. Pay a bill vs. buy shoes. Continue Reading >

Insanity The Asylum- Day 27

May 16th 2011
Today was the most difficult workout out of all of the days. Worked out while on vacation and continued when I got back home. Setting the alarm and getting up this morning was a beating. Worse than when I was working out while sick in the first few days. I said I would do it and I'm going to do it. 3 more days. I am my only road block. You absolutely can do whatever you put your mind to doing. Set the goal and just do it. It would have been very easy to keep hitting snooze or just turn off my Continue Reading >
