Balance your pH and save your life.

May 9th 2013
Balance your pH and save your life. Did that catch your attention? Do you even know what pH is? pH refers to acid-alkaline balance. Many western doctors do not use this as a practice to treat patients and many times it is not even considered as an issue. Tests happen, drugs are given and even surgeries and procedures that are not necessary. 1 is extremely acidic and 14 is totally alkaline. Your body wants to be slightly alkaline. The blood wants to maintain 7.35 to 7.45 and fights to do Continue Reading >

Are you done yet?

April 18th 2013
Are you done yet? In early April I attended a seminar by Sandi Krakowski. www.arealchange.com/blog/ I went in expecting to learn about social media and blogging and left with a stronger understanding of my purpose and exactly what I need to be doing with my gifts. I won’t ramble on and on about my special purpose and I’ll get right to the point. Sandi shared many things and I have pages and pages of notes. One story she told was about a lady who was working 90 hours a week doing many things. Continue Reading >

85 Days Until The Ab Reveal

March 26th 2013
85 Days Until the Ab Reveal I pledged to post every Tuesday about my ab progress. Wednesday we hopped on a plane to Disney World. Thankfully it was a Beachbody trip so they had healthy food choices and we packed many supplements and snacks. Somehow wine, ice cream and French fries still made it into my mouth. Shocking! I allowed myself this final trip to have a few things. I don’t know why I “reward” myself with unhealthy food when it doesn’t reward me. The last supper? Thin crust Continue Reading >

Abs by Summit 2013

March 19th 2013
92 Days to the Big Ab Reveal Today marks 92 days until we show up in Vegas for the annual Team Beachbody Coach Summit. It will be my 3rd coach summit. Last year I just completed the 21 day Ultimate Reset and was very close to my goal weight. Then summer happened. We went to Cozumel, went to San Jose and saw Tony Robbins and didn’t have a plan. We gained some weight and didn’t stick to a schedule. I’m much more successful when I have a plan. A clear plan. I had huge success on the reset. Continue Reading >

Say no to plateaus

March 12th 2013
Weight Loss Plateaus occur when you no longer lose weight despite your exercise and nutrition efforts. To officially be in a plateau you must be at the same weight for at least 6 weeks or more. If you find your weight fluctuates after the weekend or after certain types of foods (salty, high carbs) then the plateau may be easier to push through than you think. You usually lose more weight in the first few weeks/months of your weight loss efforts because of the change in your nutrition and exercise. Continue Reading >

What is stopping you from saying YES?

January 19th 2013
What is stopping you from saying YES? Who would say NO to better health? Who would say NO to a better body? Who would say NO to more income? Who would say NO to a better, more inspired life? No one does it on purpose yet I hear NO all the time. So many times I’ve had conversations with people who want a better life, want more money, want change, want a better relationship, a better job or better health. We have a great conversation and determine their WHY. What is a why? A why Continue Reading >

Awesome Level Rising – Post Surgery

January 15th 2013
Surgery was Friday January 5th. The first several days were pretty boring. I couldn’t really sleep and had to sit up at a 45 degree angle and keep ice on my eyes at all times. You never really realize just how much you depend on your eyes when you can’t use them. Simple things like helping my son get ready for school or reading him a book at bedtime were over for a while. Day 1: We went into the Surgery Center in Fort Worth and they treated me like gold. My nurse Laura was amazing. She was Continue Reading >

Surgery coming soon

December 28th 2012
More than 10 days without Shakeology and other vitamins and I’m feeling it. My energy level is down. My desire to get up and work out is down. TMI but my pooping is not as great as it used to be. It takes longer and it kind of hurts. With Shakeology it was a breeze. My stomach hurts often now and after every meal. I miss being able to grab a shake for breakfast. I miss grabbing a shake for a quick snack. I miss it big time. I’ve also noticed that my cravings for sweets is up. The Continue Reading >

Experiment for 60 days

December 17th 2012
Experiment for 60 days You are about to take a journey with me whether you want to or not. I want all the support I can get. December 18th I’m heading into the doctor for pre-op surgery appointment. He is going to lay out the surgery and recovery time. What surgery? I’m having some work done on my eyes. I’m having bags, also known as festoons, removed. I’m tired of looking tired. I wake up every morning with the puffiest eyes. The minute I tell people I’m getting it done they say Continue Reading >
