The emotional eater’s gift

August 6th 2013
The Ultimate Reset is the bomb. You may have watched me go through it in the past. I’ve blogged about my journey with the Reset and had super results. Then something happens when it is over. I get lazy or I cross the finish line and go back to some of my old ways. The worst habit I have, or used to have is mindless snacking. I don’t snack on ice cream sandwiches or doritos but I snack non-stop for hours sometimes. What do I snack on? Hummus and veggies, lentil chips, popcorn, dark chocolate Continue Reading >

Are you happy with your life?

July 10th 2013
Are you happy? Are you happy or are you in No Man’s Land? You know the place where you are unhappy but not unhappy enough to do anything about it. I challenge you to start applying the compound effect. Small positive changes every day to get you to your goals. Many people give up too early because they want drastic and immediate results. Know that it does take time. I have an analogy that I use from a friend of mine. He said “It takes one woman 9 months to make a baby. You can’t throw time Continue Reading >

Stuffed Jalepenos

July 4th 2013
Happy 4th of July! Some of you who follow us may think we are these clean eating, workout machines. Nope! We follow the 80/20 rule. We eat clean and workout 80% of the time and allow ourselves rest and "cheat" meals 20% of the time. Here is one of our favorite recipes. It is one we make 2 or 3 times a year and when we bring them to a party we are requested to bring them again or we will not be allowed to return. Stuffed Jalepenos Ingredients: 15 medium to large fresh, whole jalepenos 2 Continue Reading >

Vanilla Shakeology is here!

July 1st 2013
Vanilla Shakeology is here. After many years of research, the Beachbody research team found a way to deliver a safe, non-gmo form of vanilla. This is one of the many reasons why I love being a part of this team and wonderful company. Beachbody will not give unhealthy ingredients to its customers or coaches. You hear of so many other companies who claim "natural" or "best tasting" and I immediately flip over the bag and look at the ingredients. Typically full of artificial colors, flavors Continue Reading >

Focus T25 Speed 1.0

June 25th 2013
Day 2 of Focus T25 Speed 1.0 The #1 reason people say they do not work out is time. They do not have time. There isn't an excuse now. Only 25 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Some people take longer showers or surf around on facebook for longer than 25 minutes. Admit it. You've spent hours pinning stuff on Pinterest and say you don't have time to work out. You really just don't want to work out. Admit it! This is a great solution. 25 minutes of focus. You don't have to drive the gym. You don't Continue Reading >

Baby Stepping into Cleaner Eating

June 18th 2013
Baby Stepping into Cleaner Eating   Thank you for allowing me to guest blog here on I am a Powerful Woman. It is my honor. Long story short I was introduced to Insanity in the summer of Continue Reading >

Top Questions

May 31st 2013
Top questions people ask me: 1) Is Insanity hard? 2) Do I have to actually coach people when I sign up as a coach? 3) Are you a personal trainer or fitness instructor? 4) What makes Shakeology better than a protein shake I can buy at GNC? 5) Why should I buy products through you and not just get them off of ebay? Q: Is Insanity hard? A: Yes. It is extremely difficult. However, you can go at your own pace. It is very refreshing to see people in the video who are super fit take breaks. Continue Reading >

Insanity Certification Recap

May 30th 2013
On May 18th I took Insanity Certifcation. It was amazing. I walked in pretty nervous. I'm not a fitness instructor or a personal trainer. It was out of my comfort zone. 1/2 the class were already instructors of some sort and knew how to queue people. It was a full day. We kicked off the training with a full Insanity Max Interval workout. We used the music and program workout that we would be teaching to others. Beachbody hit this one out of the park. I heard from other fitness instructors who Continue Reading >
